Margaritaville at Sea Expands “Heroes Month” This May With Cruise Giveaway, Onboard Celebrations and First Look at New Heroes Hall
Orlando, FL (April 29, 2026) - Margaritaville at Sea is building on the momentum of its best-in-industry Heroes initiatives with the return of Heroes Month this May, featuring a new Heroes “At Sea” cruise giveaway, expanded onboard recognition, and a first look at Heroes Hall, a dedicated space debuting aboard the line’s newest ship, Beachcomber, which launches in January 2027.
Created as an extension of the cruise line’s flagship Heroes Sail Free program, Heroes Month honors active and former duty military, first responders, nurses, and educators with meaningful experiences both onboard and beyond the ship.

Designed as an immersive, walk-through experience, the space features gallery-style displays, large-format photography, and memorabilia that bring the stories of Heroes to life. A central gathering area provides space for connection and select onboard programming, reinforcing the brand’s ongoing investment in recognizing service in a visible and lasting way. Renderings released today offer a first look at what is expected to be one of the most distinctive spaces at sea dedicated to honoring Heroes.
- Heroes “At Sea” Cruise Giveaway – Launching in May, the Heroes “At Sea” giveaway offers eligible Heroes the chance to win a 7-night Caribbean cruise for two sailing from Port Tampa Bay. Guests can enter while onboard any sailing throughout the month or be nominated by friends and family online. The initiative broadens access to the program while encouraging the wider community to recognize the Heroes in their lives.
- Month-Long Onboard Recognition – Across the fleet, Heroes Month will be felt from embarkation through the final farewell. Programming includes the expansion of the line’s signature Heroes Salute, along with commemorative pins and curated experiences designed to acknowledge service, foster camaraderie, and create shared moments among guests. Throughout May, select dates will also highlight key national observances including Teacher Appreciation Week, National Nurses Week, and Memorial Day.
