Nature, Hike & Snorkel Adventure
Fort Amsterdam has been watching over St. Maarten's harbor since the island's earliest colonial period, and the hike to reach it earns the view. A local guide leads the group to the historic fort, where the vantage point over the harbor and surrounding coastline gives the island's geography a sense of scale. From there, the tour moves into the water for a guided snorkel along the coral reef, where colorful marine life and the clear Caribbean visibility make for a natural second chapter. Great Bay Beach provides the third, with beach chairs, umbrellas, and a refreshment included as the afternoon winds down at the waterline.
