Lethe Village Bamboo Rafting & Cultural Experience
Lethe Village sits inland from Montego Bay along the Great River, where the pace of Jamaica slows. Your bamboo raft is poled by a captain who has worked this stretch of water for years, sharing local stories as you sip prosecco and enjoy a signature limestone foot rub with lush riverbanks drifting by. Back on land, the garden pathways carry the experience further, where your guide walks you through the banana plant and everything the island has learned to do with it. That leads naturally into duckunoo, also known as blue draws, a traditional treat wrapped in banana leaf that you'll taste before the ride back. It is a gentle, unhurried look at the Jamaica most visitors never reach.
