Few excursions swing this far between extremes. The first half is pure adrenaline: nearly two miles of zipline through Roatan's jungle canopy, with the longest span reaching 1,300 feet and the highest launch sitting more than 100 feet above the forest floor. Each line has its own character, and by the last one you'll have found your rhythm. Then everything slows down. Sol y Mar Beach Club is a resort-style stretch of sand where the water runs calm and crystal-clear, ideal for a swim or for doing nothing at all. It is the best of both sides of Roatán: a rush through the treetops followed by a few carefree hours at the water’s edge.
