Xcambo Ruins & Pink Salt Lakes Adventure
Step back in time at Xcambo, a once-prosperous Mayan trade center known for its salt production and ceremonial structures. Explore this ancient site with your guide, who will share fascinating stories about Mayan culture as you visit the Temple of Sacrifices and other key ruins. You’ll even have the chance to climb some of the well-preserved pyramids and admire panoramic views of the lush surroundings. Then, just a short drive away, visit the vibrant Pink Salt Lakes—where locals have harvested salt for centuries. Depending on the season and light, the water may appear pink, orange, or other surreal hues. Shop for small bags of locally harvested salt as a one-of-a-kind souvenir before returning to port. Entrance fees to both Xcambo and the salt flats are included.
