Willemstad Train Trolley
Willemstad's UNESCO city center covers a lot of ground, and the trolley is one of the more comfortable ways to see it. The 90-minute circuit passes the Queen Emma Bridge, the former floating market, and Scharloo, where homes built in the 1800s line the streets. A highlight is the recently renovated Bolo di Bruid, the Wedding Cake House, widely considered the city's most photographed building. Pietermaai Cathedral and Queen Wilhelmina Park follow before the trolley reaches Fort Amsterdam, built in 1635 to guard the harbor entrance and today an anchor of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
