SNUBA Catamaran, Go Beyond Snorkeling

Take your time beneath the surface on a relaxed catamaran adventure through the Bonaire National Marine Park. After boarding at the pier, cruise along the calm west coast to a reef site where certified instructors walk you through the SNUBA setup and help you feel comfortable before entering the water. The experience lets you breathe underwater from a surface-floating air tank, giving you time to explore coral, tropical fish, and maybe sea turtles from a closer point of view. Prefer to stay near the surface? Snorkeling and deck time are part of the day too. After the water fun, ease back with open-bar drinks on the return cruise and let the coastline bring you home.

Things You Should Know

  • Minimum age is 13 years
  • Maximum age is 65 years
  • Minimum age is 18 years to consume alcohol
  • Maximum weight is 250 lbs
  • Tour departs either directly from the cruise pier, or a short walk away
  • Guests must successfully complete the medical waiver to participate in SNUBA. The waiver will be reviewed by the SNUBA guide, who reserves the right to restrict participation in the activity for safety reasons. Guests who are not approved may still join the snorkeling portion of the tour
  • Drinks featuring rum punch, beer, fruit punch, soft drinks, and water included
  • Snorkel gear and SNUBA equipment with diving tanks included
  • Swimwear, towel, sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses recommended for guests to bring
  • There is a no shoe policy once onboard
  • Tour is not wheelchair or walker accessible
  • Tour is not suitable for guests with lung, heart, ear or sinus conditions, back, hip, knee or neck problems, walking disabilities or mobility issues, those who are pregnant, or guests recovering from surgery
  • Guests must be able to independently step on and off the vessel
  • Guests wishing to participate in swimming and/or snorkeling activities must be able to swim independently, be comfortable in open water, and have sufficient swimming ability to safely take part
  • Guests wishing to participate in the SNUBA activity should have prior snorkeling experience and feel comfortable in the water
