Small Group: Mangrove Creek, MLK Memorial & Starfish Reef Adventures
Bimini's mangrove system is not the first place guests expect to find a Martin Luther King Jr. memorial, juvenile lemon sharks, and colorful tropical starfish. This excursion finds all three. Your boat winds through the mangrove creeks while guides explain the ecological role these waterways play in protecting coastlines and supporting marine life. The hidden Martin Luther King Jr. memorial, tucked within the ecosystem, provides a quiet and unexpected pause. Snorkeling through the mangroves brings guests into the habitat directly, where juvenile lemon sharks, southern stingrays, sea turtles, and tropical fish share the shallow, sheltered water. Bikini Bottom Starfish Reef closes the tour with an opportunity to observe and photograph the colorful starfish in Bimini's crystal-clear water.
