Ostrich Farm & Sightseeing
Wildlife, colonial history, and a panoramic Willemstad overlook don't often share the same afternoon, but this tour manages it. Riffort Village frames the Queen Emma Bridge and the harbor's colorful facades before the route continues to the ostrich farm, where guests board an old school bus with a local guide through the property. Hand-feeding the ostriches brings guests up close to the birds, while the guide traces the eggs through their stages, with the chance to see a hatchling mid-emergence if timing aligns. Scharlooweg follows, where restored mansions of the former merchant class form part of Willemstad's UNESCO designation. Fort Nassau closes the tour with a panoramic view over Willemstad, its harbor, and the surrounding coastline.
