Hofi Mango is the kind of place that's hard to categorize. Once a plantation on the island's western edge, it now combines the Dutch Kingdom's only sugar mill, the remains of a distillery dating to 1700, and more than 600 mango trees that have been growing here for centuries. A walk through the garden feels more like a rainforest than a farm, with the Stairway to Heaven leading up to a panoramic view over the island at the top. The afternoon then moves to Cas Abao Beach, one of Curaçao's finest natural shores, where a beach chair, soft drink, and shower keep things relaxed til your return.
