Capital Highlights by E-bike and Mangrove Park Kayaking
From road to row, this tour takes you from the streets of Curaçao to its rivers. Starting at the pier on an e-bike, a local guide leads through neighborhoods most visitors never reach on foot. The route winds through Punda, Scharloo, Pietermaai, and Otrobanda, passing the Queen Emma Bridge, the UNESCO Historic Waterfront, colorful merchant houses, Fort Amsterdam, and the Curaçao National Archive, known locally as the Wedding Cake House. The Scharloo district adds murals by local artists before the route heads to the Curaçao Rif Mangrove Park. There, kayaks take over, and the tour moves into the mangrove ecosystem, where paddling through the waterway offers a close-up look at one of the island's most vital natural habitats. Urban exploration and ecological immersion, all before lunch.
